MY MOTHER FAIRY- Graduation Film
For my graduation film at LUCA school of arts, Sint Lukas Brussel I'm looking for two actresses and some extra's.
Short synopsis:
Jessy (8- 11) lives a wild, fun and dreamy life with her single mother Fiola (played by Line Pillet). When Fiola one day decides they are fairies and don't need to go to school, but go to a thrift store, dance in the forest,
and meet a guy (played by Vadiel Gonzalez) that invites them at his squat, Jessy first feels like real fairies but after a while starts to doubt if her mother is really a fairy after all.
The films is about the the imaginary world of a child and the psychosis of a parent, which can often overlap and feed each other even on a positive and almost magical way, but at other moments can make the child feel lost in who or what to believe in life. It is a fictional short, inspired by my own youth with my mother.
I'm very excited to make this story, and I hope to find actresses and actors here who are just as excited to hopefully make something special and touching that we can send to festivals.
Since the mother is Dutch speaking we are looking for a Dutch speaking girl to play Jessy.
